Please take a moment to fill out and return all necessary paperwork included in the mid-July mailing. • Our parent information meeting will be Wednesday, August 20 from 6:00 – 6:45 p.m. in the Social Level under the church. This meeting is for parents only. Fr. Damian will speak with parents, followed by a brief overview of our preschool program and curriculum, drop-off and pick-up procedures, and daily schedule.

Preschool & Snack Supplies

Please bring the following to Open House
• Box of 5 oz. Dixie Cups
• Package of baby wipes
• Package of Zip sandwich baggies
• Bottle of liquid soap
• Package glue sticks

• Open House for parents and children will be held August 25 for MWF classes, and August 26 for T-TH classes. Morning classes attend with their parents between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. Afternoon classes attend with their parents between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. on their scheduled day.

• The first day regular day of preschool will be Wednesday, August 27 for MWF classes and Thursday, August 28 for T-TH classes.

• Important — Help your child to choose a standard size backpack, comfortable play clothing that allows for independence at bathroom time, and shoes that are easy to run and play in.

• We love to have the help of parents throughout the school year. Safe Environment Training is important to have if you would like to work with children on a regular basis (field trip chaperones, coaching, classroom volunteer, etc.) See information below.

Safe Environment Training

Safe environment trainings have been set for 'all personnel of the Archdiocese, i.e. priests, deacons, paid staff and volunteers who have regular contact with children and young people at the time they enter service in the name of the Church' (Archdiocese of Omaha, Child Protection policy 4a, p15). Training successfully completed by volunteers and employees is effective for five years.  Training sessions are posted on the Archdiocesan website Safe Environment Training. 

A Safe Environment Training class has been scheduled for our parish on
Monday, August 25 from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m.  Call 402-592-1533 to register for this session.
