Reeson’s Ramblings :: December 24, 2017
I know the holidays can be chaotic,
…with so many things to do and people to visit, but I hope you’re able to take the time for quiet peace
and reflection on the gift God gave of himself on the first Christmas. Sometimes we don’t realize how much noise there is in our lives.
Perhaps this Christmas, we should try our best to give the gift of time to our loved ones by putting our electronics away and being fully
present. The conversations we have and the memories we make with our friends and families are priceless gifts we should treasure forever.
It’s always encouraging to see how many ways people find to be generous during the Christmas season. Many of our parishioners
have given of their time, talent, and treasure to feed the hungry, purchase gifts for families, help out those who are struggling, and
spread joy in many ways. I’m blessed to be part of such a joyful and generous parish.
Wishing you all a blessed Christmas, full of love, joy, and peace.
